This position is for the Champaign Country Club Assistant Professional beginning in March 2027. Champaign Country Club is a premier private, family club in central Illinois. Member-owned; 18-hole facility located approximately 2 ½ hours south of Chicago, West of Indianapolis and Northeast of St. Louis. Electronic communications with membership
Intent to pursue career in golf industry
Daily communication with all departments
Play management of "walk-up" starting times
Merchandising for Professional owned concession
Familiar with handicapping and tournament software
Checks and balances for range, bag storage, golf car usage
Assist and conduct club fitting with Foresight
Player development - Junior, group, and private instruction
Tournament operations for all golf events
Club repair, re-gripping, re-shafting, loft & lie equipment
Review and update policy and procedure manual
Assist outside operations as needed
