Our client serves as technical advisors, auditors, and inspectors, empowering their clients, including major renewable energy project developers, owners, operators, and IPPs to make sustainable decisions for every aspect of their projects. As pioneers and global leaders in renewables, they have expanded their expertise far beyond inspection and auditing to deliver exceptional value to their clients across a broad range of services.
Due to expansion in the United States, we are seeking two accomplished and goal-driven Regional Sales Account Managers based in the United States with deep expertise in renewables, particularly within solar, and BESS energy storage. This is a high-impact role, ideal for a strategic sales professional with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, market development, and customer engagement across the United States. With some existing customers, this role will require account management and new business development.T he 2 positions will be servicing the East Coast and West Coast.
Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Account Manager is responsible for the development and realization of sales targets by implementing effective strategies and plans tailored for US markets, aiming at maximizing sales and sustained profitability. Undertake business development and sales activities that enable company clients to select the most relevant technical solutions, delivering high market presence and sustained profitability.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans, set quotas and timelines, and drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Grow customer portfolio, secure new business opportunities, and strengthen loyalty and repeat sales.
- Lead & Pipeline Management: Generate, qualify, and track leads in CRM, manage sales pipeline, and produce accurate forecasts and performance reports.
- Order & Process Management: Oversee entire order lifecycle, ensure accurate data entry, timely delivery, and resolve issues proactively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Operations and other teams to align strategies, streamline workflows, and resolve logistical challenges.
- Customer Engagement: Act as trusted advisor, provide expert guidance, follow up regularly, and create upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Compliance & Data Management: Ensure legal, regulatory, and policy compliance while maintaining secure, accurate customer data.
Location: Remote, US
Travel: Approximately 50% travel
Compensation: Base salary and commission
Requirements
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in account management or business development, ideally in a B2B environment selling technical services into utility scale Solar and BESS IPP's, EPC's and Utilities.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
- Hands-on experience managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to order fulfilment.
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems for pipeline management, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Technical advisory, Market Intelligence, Marketing, etc) to ensure smooth processes and customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Background in process improvement and optimizing sales workflows.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused mindset.
